I know very little about the Goblin. But looking at the picture posted in YT's post you are a little off in the height of the canopy.
It looks like YT has his pilot at the correct height and the glass should be about 1/4 inch above the pilot's head and the curvature of the rear canopy ( tear drop ) should be flatter .
All it looks like that needs to be done is cut the frame down in height flatten out the back shape a little.
You may be able to use the same vacuume plug for the glass , just cut more off the bottom of pulled glass.
Unless everything changes once you shorten the height.
I have found when making something it may measure out right but it may not look right . Then it is back to reference pics to get the " look " that is needed.
I as well am not trying to be negative because I will like a full build when my money gets right.
