Official Customer Input Needed On the HUMVEE Project Post

Post by pickelhaube » Fri Nov 28, 2014 6:34 am

Alright guys this post is for guys who are actually buying the HUMVEE parts .

Sorry for so many posts but I do not want one to interfere with the other.

Are any of you guys using the BBI HUMVEE ?

Most guys seem to be using the PTE or 21st. If not BBI guys speak up I will not do that custom .

Also I was planning on casting the 21st tire for the spare tire. I was planning to use this tire for the PTE as well.

The PTE tires are toyish looking and do not have a back on them.

If you guys want me to make a cast for the PTE I will and I will make a back for it.

Would you guys want me to make additional backs for the tires on the PTE model ?

Pickel,
As you know, I'm exclusively a BBI Humvee user. If I'm alone, I will probably not going to dismantle one of 2 to send you the rear passenger doors, and send them over the Ocean... Or should I anyway? Tell me what to do, perheaps more potential on the Fighting 1-18th?

Well you are the only guy who spoke up about the BBI door.

The door is spring loaded all you have to do is pull it strait down and it pops right out. There is a steel pin that holds the door.

I have a BBI but like I said it is missing that door. I could probably make the door skimn without it but there is a possibility that it may not as well as I would like.

I will cover shipping if that is an issue.
