Are 1/18 aircraft going up in value?

Post by Jnewboy » Wed Nov 26, 2014 12:30 pm

So I was watching some auctions that started low, I like to see where actual prices are from time to time. I was amazed!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/THE-ULTIMATE-SO ... true&rt=nc

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-18-Motorworks ... true&rt=nc

Fw-190D for $150??
P-40's for $150??
Spit for $200??

I get it if the Spit was a rare one like the black bottom one or D-day but its not, non of these are rare or special editions. So are values on the rise? or is this Christmas??

It's Christmas gouging. Prices over the past year have actually been pretty steady.
