Those are cool as hell! Man, these things are going to sell. The army builders among us are going to go wild!!! Now that's what I call value for money....

Now this is what I like to see! Even though I know these are mostly rehashed parts from previously released figures, it has got me very excited. Looking at the pictures on the site, all I can see is new figures! I see tons of possibilities. Can't wait to see the pictures of the rest of the series. I can already invision a German tanker figure with an extra head, a standard helmet, and maybe just maybe a MG-34 or a Panzerfaust. Also an open long coat with an officer style head and pistol. Man this is gonna be the series I buy tons of as long as distribution is good and no one in my area beats me to them.

You know, I was getting tired of seeing so many BoB figures (save for the open coat German infantry) and then 21c drops in these VERY COOL figures! The accessories and customization features are an excellent idea. Many of us have long since been doing that with existing figure parts, but now 21c is giving us a chance. I like that 101st AB soldier and the fact that we will get plain green (and removable) helmets for the BoB US figures.
Anyone else notice that the last names of the figures, such as "Phares" and "Allen" come from 21c employees

Oh yeah, Wal-Mart all the way with these bad boys! And um yeah, German guys have 2 heads also!!! check out the pics on friday! -sorry guys orders are orders and I gotta sit on them till then... I am also hoping to get an ETA on these. If I know 21st lately... they should be about out of the oven!
Wait till you get a load of the next figure set! -Did I say that outloud?

Next figure set? Come on give us a hint. Will it be Afrika Korps? Some Britts? Some Ruskies? Italians? More Japanese? One of the movie licenses? Western Front? Eastern Front? A specific battle like Anzio or El Amanien? I am dying to know. Figures is my main focus with vehicles next and aircraft last. So this is very intriguing to me.

I was just looking at the pictures again. Anyone else notice that the Cpl. Alexander "Animal" Diaz and the Cpl. S.P. "Sam" Phares figures come with arms that are made like the Japanese? These two figures have the pin elbow joints instead of the peg and hole elbow joints. That should definitely cut out the lower arm falling off when trying to bend it problem I have experienced on a few of the USMC and BoB figures.
The next set is to the tune of the BOB sets as discussed in this thread. So no they are not ALL new figs so don't anyone get too far ahead thinking 21st might make something crazy like french resistance figures.
Sorry I can't say more... sometimes I gotta follow orders.
However my guess is that we will see some All new figs in 2006! The Japanese and Marines have performed too well for 21st to not make a move like that... I think Digger has been supporting the marine sales all by himself!

I only wish I had your problems Tman... Still the only Bulge figure around my AO is a lone Jeep Driver, and obviously with good reason does this steaming turd sit on the pegs amidst his Leatherneck buddies.tmanthegreat wrote:You know, I was getting tired of seeing so many BoB figures (save for the open coat German infantry)
I love Marine figures, they're great, but we have still yet to see a Japanese Soldier, or any major sighting of Battle of the Bulge. I just hope these new figures don't suffer a similar fate.
My prayers were answered... I'd said since the Bulge series showed the first time that it felt sparce and that serious omissions were made. Namely a US Rifleman in a trenchcoat. Finally they do him up and really the whole Battle of the Bulge series is given a MAJOR upgrade with the removable heads, entirely unique bodies/parts, 2 headsculpts... 21st Century Toys is giving the Toy Industry a serious lesson in quality again with this so I'm hoping my other favorite companies *cough*BBI/Hasbro*cough* are listening intently. 21st's catering to the army building mentality with these and I can only applaud this from them. Thanks to 21st bigtime.
NOw... If only they'd get retail partners that distributed stuff intelligently...
