Hello
Not sure if this ever got posted over here, but I figured I might as well make a thread.
We FINALLY finished our first site-exclusive figure.
This was a custom designed and sculpted figure by one of our members, Obi-Shinobi. It was casted and produced through the Angel Forge. Our site skews towards modern-era stuff, so we went with a modern-based figure this time around.
Some initial shots, with the base figure showing articulation, etc.
Some shots of prototypes..
And finally..
We are currently offering these for sale through our site in kit form. It's $35 a figure plus S/H ($25 + S/H for "118th Officers").
You can read our blurb at: http://www.fighting118th.com/2014/03/12 ... igure-kit/
We hope to have a follow up figure done as well, but it's currently in the design phase. As with everything else in this hobby, nothing is cheap!
Thanks for reading

That is good news for the 1/18 modern soldier community.
Is the kit made of resin?
If so maybe in the future there is hope we get a WWII figures in the form of kits.

Yeah, I believe it's resin.
The aim was to get a soldier that could hold and aim his rifle properly, as so many figures have a very hard time with this. Also, we wanted to be able to get into more realistic poses. Still no laying prone shooting ahead.. but maybe someday
