New BBI Weapons Assortments?

Post by Birddog » Mon Dec 12, 2005 9:53 am

I was just over at a Joecustoms website and there's a thread on some new weapons packs from BBI.

Has anyone seen these yet at their TRU's?

Here's the link:

Yeah I found these yesterday and was wondering if you guys have seen these yet. I had no idea they were coming out. They had one new marine recon fig with some update camo that looked more accurate too. I going to look at some other toys rus in the area to see if i find anything else.

Great! More modern guns to add to my already large BBI arsenal. I can't say whether or not these will appear in my area any time soon. We still haven't gotten the new WWII infantry figures and they keep restocking the older figures and weapons packs. When I first read the post, I wondered why these weren't WWII-related accessories, but then remembered the minnature arsenal each WWII Paratrooper or Infantry figure comes with!

The Joe guys love those HKs :D ..and I must say I will be picking up a few 8) They should stop painting the weapons for desert though because it always looks like too much.
I want to see the new USMC, and hopefully something that rolls along with 'em. :D

If anyone sees these available online could you post it, or even better, email me directly. I'm in Iraq and really don't want to miss these.
I didn't see them on ebay, but if anyone sees them there I would consider it so let me know.
Thanks

Picked up 2 sets each of the new weapons packs today at TRU. 1 set for my son's stocking, and 1 set for me! Can always use more weapons.

Found these today - at least what I think was them. There were some overlaping weapons with other releases, but the majority were new. I like the large "machine gun" thing on the tripod with the little ammo box and the overall "futureistic" look of the guns. Alot of this would go well with GI Joe.

real guns

Tman, I think they are all real weapons systems. With all the Spec Ops figures we have they should fit right in. 8)

The machine gun/grenade launcher is a new system the military is testing out to replace the .50 cal mg and the auto grenade launcher systems.
The weapon can fire mg ammo or air burst grenades....

Found at one of two TRUs in Central Arkansas (which proves Wal Mart isn't the only one with distribution problems).

My monitor is not too hot but the one in the top card looks like a GD XM307 (Airbursting Weapon System).
The bottom card has the MK-19.

Just a tip on these weapons. I picked up the OIC (looks like the pulse rife from Aliens) in an Elite Force figure/weapons pack at Target for 3.99 each.
Mine looks a little more weathered than the one in the picture.

It did not contain the big weapon systems, but did have pump rifles, M4s etc with it. The figures are not very good.

Cheer`s Digger :D Found a photo of it in use too.

It say`s the XM307 is intended to replace both the M2 & MK19 in the future.
So anyone wanting cutting edge troops, well what with the OICW,M8 family & now the M307,well you can do it. Moreso if you were lucky enough to pick up a year or so ago the SDCC BBI exclusive figure in the New ACUs too

Razor, you mean the BBI Exclusive store ones. The figures are GI Joe type rather than there standard release.

if so mate the figures arn`t that bad. I was lucky enough to get ALL from that Store Exclusive line (figures & Acc packs). Like anything with a little work they look a lot better.

The OICW is a nice piece (I have 5 myself) though I`m a G36 fan & really happy were seeing more of them out now apart from Hasbro`s G36/AG36 combo.

I do like the look, shame it`s a MK-19 again though,as I`ve a fair few of those too. Would have been nice if they threw in some other New weapon systems.

With that,Looking forward to getting a few of each very soon :D
