Check out Ebay 161099859737,this Seller is dreaming in Technicolour,I don't think he'll even get a German buyer who seem to go bonkers for Timpo.I've always wondered why Timpo went with a "Modern day"British Chieftain tank for a WW2 US/German tank but I guess authenticity wasn't much of a concern for a Playset for young'uns. If you ever come across one at your local garage sales let me know but don't expect me to pay what they want for this one,LOL!!

They show up on Ebay every so often.Usually when a seller gets a Playset he parts it out on Ebay.I have two(2) Playsets. If you Google you should find some pictures.

Wish the tooling for these would show up,think re-pros of these would fly off the shelves for $30-$50 a tank.

I just got another one, here's a pic that shows the box
http://www.timpo-collector.co.nz/files/ ... 13_018.JPG
Mine are stamped 'Timpo Toys, made in GB', whilst the Aurora Tanks are not Timpo since they are stamped 'Aurora Toys, made in USA. Timpo tanks are super rare, Aurora tanks aren't.

Maybe later, mine is a NZ made box/tank , although stamped made in GB, and this is a GB made one, different box.

So, it was Aurora who made a German version, not Timpo.
