A Bear, Bison and Backfire Arrive
Don't get your hope up, guys. These are all from the DeAgostini Russian series and are tiny tots. The Backfire is about 1:275th in scale while the Bear and Bison are roughly 1:350-385th. Also, as is so true with this particular series, there are no frills, so I had to add the windows and other stuff to make them moderately presentable----when seen from a distance of, say, three feet.

Re: A Bear, Bison and Backfire Arrive
actually that's a Blinder, isn't it? Not a Backfire. The Backfire was a swing wing development of the Tu-22, called the Tu-22M.
Nice tiny tots......hopefully see them in bigger form one day.

Some very cool Russian Cold War bombers there Ed.
Too bad they are so small, but at least you can get them.

Blinder it is, AF. Actually they had a TU-22M earlier in the series but it was so awful looking that I skipped it.aferguson wrote:actually that's a Blinder, isn't it? Not a Backfire. The Backfire was a swing wing development of the Tu-22, called the Tu-22M.

When you said Bison I thought this:

I actually picked up this very kit myself.
