HM's Do -It -Yourself Kits
HM's Do -It -Yourself Kits
Hobby master is offering unassembled, unpainted metal and plastic kits of a Stuka and F6F---see Hobby Master Collector site for details-----I guess as an experiment or, perhaps, as a way to sell off extra parts. The kits come with instructions and decals for a number of schemes. I might try one if it its parts were pre-painted, but raw metal???No thanks----that's too much trouble.
Re: HM's Do -It -Yourself Kits
They are 1:72 scale and based on existing HM toolings.

Re: HM's Do -It -Yourself Kits
I'd be more interested in separate individual parts like some closed dive brakes for the Helldiver and Dauntless if they offered them.
The open dive brakes are nicely detailed, but it'd be nice to have an option to close them like the first few Helldiver and Dauntless offerings.

Too bad they didn't offer the same thing for their 1/32 planes. I'd be all in...
