Nice lookin Zero so far but it makes me mad really and heres why. BBI has come out with a Zero and 21st might come out with a Zero and now this company is coming out with a Zero, where oh where is the 1/18th F6F Hellcat? Sorry guys its just frusterating not to have a 1/18th F6F a plane that I want so badly but no company seems very interested in doing one. And thats a shame really because it was the top Fighter in the pacific producing the most aces and had a kill/loss ratio of 19-1 a record STILL unsurpassed today. Wheres the love?
I now feel the same frusteration the guys who want an A-10 feel.

Does anyone find it odd that for months - maybe years - we were told the Zero wouldn't sell, it wouldn't be something the casual buyer would want, etc - and soon there will be three, possibly four or more, versions available?

i'm not a great fan of IJN but i bought 2 BBi Zeros, and will buy more as soon as they become available.
i think they were very well done.
and if the new ones look as good as pix are showing i'll get them also

I know what you mean MightyMustang....
Hopefully someday we'll see both the A-10 and F6F done in 1/18...

Hey Mighty: you can add the frustration of the F-4 contingent on this board as well in your sentiment.

MM, did you see the photo of the 1/18 Hellcat from BBi at that fall toy fair? It does exist, and I believe it is probably the next 1:18 scale aircraft for them. Looked really awesome.

I saw that but all we get is "wait and see" from Mike. Yes it looks awsome but so far all I've seen is a pic. I want to have it in my hands!!

We haven't seen any pilots from Admiral Toys yet... wonder will they be included?

Didn't Admiral Toys say that this was in the prototype stage at the same time as BBIs and 21sts??? Sounds like all three companies decided to do it, not knowing the others were too...
Admirals Zero does look really good, much better than the BBI version IMHO..

I found a nice link to the Merit website. They have some good pics of the series 2 green zero from bbi.

Edit:
Awwww crap.

I meant to post this in the bbi zero thread. apologies.
One hundred and fifty three - 1:18 scale aircraft on the ceiling looks  damn good!

1/18 scale aircraft will be a step above everyone else when it comes to detail. They will come with a fully pose-able action figure and moveable flight controls.
