After about 20 minutes here's the result. Kinda hard to see in these photos but, it looks really good IMO. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. We'll see how it looks after some primer.

Thanks rudedog. I miss seeing the updates from deankleines and mcaulk. What happened to those guys, where did they go ?? It is because of those two and their work that I deceided to tackle this project. Hopefully we'll hear from them again. I really enjoyed their skills. I WILL press on with this build to the end, which hopefully will be finished by the end of this year. Thanks for looking and following along.

I have a good friend of mine who is working on something special for me for the Cat. He is casting a few parts and we'll see how they come out. Once I get mine back from him, I'll post some photos. If there is enough interest in them, from you guys, he might consider producing / selling them. Stay tuned.

OK, finally received my other "Bombcat" parts from my friend, thanks Ted !! Great job !! These are the two aft Phoenix pallets complete with the BRU-32 bomb racks and BDU-50's (inert MK-82 500lb. bombs). This gives you the availability to equip your Tomcat with different loadouts, which is what I want to do.
He is going to do a VERY LOW, "Limited run" of 15 sets total for those of you who may be interested. You can contact him directly, via e-mail, at dyersart@comcast.net. I have nothing to do with this venture. I am just trying to help a friend out. He actually did this as a favor for me because we are friends. Look him up, you won't be dissappointed. Made a little headway this weekend. Got alot of parts ready for primer.

The more I looked at the tails the more I wanted to replace the lights on them so, out came the saw and now they are ready to receive the new lights. This old toothbrush, from my stash bin, will do the trick. I won't even have to paint it, bonus !

Pieces cut, cut ends wet sanded and polished and, ready for installation.

Here's some shots of the tail lights finished up. Some super glue to secure them in place, a little shaping with my rotorary tool and, some wet sanding, followed up with a buffing with the rotary tool. Look MUCH better in my opinion and, now the tails are ready for some primer.

steve sorry so long on talk to you time the bomb modes are the same as what i had pizza guy do for me but my bombs are the other 2 gbu that came with the b/k . now that my oldest son is in the states i can get to setting pictures up for all to see of my 2 cats i look forward to all your new improvments.
