Has anyone seen a giant F-22 Can tell me the name of the manufacturer That made this F-22 that is big enough to put a 12"GI Joe. I think they were sold thru JC Penny It is not an RC Aircraft just a real big Plastic Toy.

The only F-22 I have seen that will fit GI Joe's was the World Peacekeepers or True Hero's F-22. It could hold the 3.75" GI Joe figures but not the 12". I believe the actual scale was closer to 1/32 and not 1/6.

Greetings

I know what you are referring to. It was either in the Sears or JCPenney catalog during the holiday season. It was several years ago and it was a giant F-22 that could hold 12" GI Joe figures. I have never ever seen one except for the photo in the catalog. I often wondered if it was a product Sears/JC Penney was supposed to sell then it got cancelled and it was in the catalog before it could be taken out, etc as I have never ever seen one.

But I do remember seeing this advertised in one of those catalogs, but it might be 6 years ago already, maybe even longer

About how far off are these true Heros F-22's from 1/18th?

They are almost exactly 1/32, just with a 1/18 pilot seat.

Sounds like a fun custom, are these sold at Walmart?

Yes, you can find tons of them at every Wal Mart in the country

(Actually, they are only found at Toys R Us, where they sell the True Heros line)

With a lot of hard work, it can actually be made a decent model: http://www.warbird-photos.com/gpxd/view ... 74#p264574 . Just expect a lot of work...

That is a big improvement, B-29.

Like you said, a lot of work to get it to this.
