I think I can wait ONE more day for this one...

A helicopter does not want to fly, it just vibrates so much that the ground rejects it

Probably a good idea since anything said or shown today could be regarded as an April fools joke.

That's why we did not make any post on the 1st. However, we are facing some delay on our side and we will still make good on a "April" announcement within April.

"within April" is fine! Thanks Jim.
Oh and I'll stop asking you about a ME-163.

Is this going to be a modern bird or vintage?

It will be one each if we can still count the FW-190 A-5.

This is excluding JSI, right?

This is probably the first time I have been truly disappointed about a 1:18 announcement. At least make it an all new paint scheme

yea that is a disappointing announcement. Of course the mold must be the old admiral or the 21st one. Much easier to release this than make another complete one like the Dauntless

It's a nice looking plane but I could really care less, no sale here.

While good to see a new 1/18 release, another F-86 Sabre is hard to get excited about.
Thanks to Jim@Merit for the updates, and hope that he doesn't take the lack of enthusiasm personally.
Lets hope we see the Focke Wulf sooner, rather than later.

Couldn't be less excited - Unless, maybe, they were announcing a repainted Mig 15!
Merit, IMO, missed the boat on this one - Don't think sales will impress...
Really curious, though, as to why Merit would choose the F86 for a repaint?

That's a good point, it is nothing personal at all. I am very grateful for them keeping the scale alive. However, at this point with my collection I will only be adding new planes, no more duplicates, I just have too many.
