Need 10 more 25's and a lot of time

Post by JollyRoger » Mon Feb 18, 2013 7:43 pm

I have been toying with this idea for a diorama for awhile. I just have to get 10 more B-25's ( I still have 2 in the box's) and a lot of time. Maybe a project for when I retire several years down the road.

Not to worry, Doolittle and most of the planes already took off.

A good start, you print the flight deck?

Just need the rest of the Hornet, though it's already cool.

I never see those B-25's available anymore except by the case, though one might be able to paint and decal the camo one?

Thanks Dauntless, Yes the deck is printed on a heavy weight cardstock. Your right the camo ones shouldn't be too hard to repaint.

The hard part would be painting the canopy and various clear parts, but luckily they are already olive green. Though is it the same shade? I'll have to look at the one I have.

I thought you could buy the entire Doolittle B-25 set from Merit?

I had to search for them and found the Merit B-25's at Foxhole toys. 6 B-25's perpack. But they are 1/350. Now they would also make a great looking diorama with a lot less work.
