Re: Somebody should do this! (Blackhawk)
Might want to double check your linked pics then because the ones in the links above say Army on the side (all that can be made out) and are Mike models based on the features ( cockpit, rotor blades, etc.)
I would put them up here myself guys but webshots was my photo hosting site and it is no more.

Re: Somebody should do this! (Blackhawk)
Dude, the picture above, that you provided via facebook, says they were Army. Look at the far left of the photo, left of the flare dispenser, you can make out "RMY", most definitely the last three letters of "UNITED STATES ARMY". Also the crewmember in the photos is wearing the Army A2CU, and has what appears to be a deployment patch from the 10th Mountain Division(Army).
I would host more of the pictures to let everyone else give their opinion, but the links above don't get me to that municipal airports album anymore.
I normally wouldn't care all that much, but I am around these things a lot and I was just trying to educate you. If you want to keep thinking they're Pavehawks go right ahead...

Re: Somebody should do this! (Blackhawk)
Definitely agree with PanzerArm, the helicopters pictured are Army UH-60M.

Re: Somebody should do this! (Blackhawk)
Ok, ok, but there were 15+ Blackhawks there that day and not all were voodoo, I remember spicificly that the airforce was there that day, I just wouldn't expect them to fly with the army, I got to fly in formation with them that day it was AMAZING everyone who had a heli that day got to!
But either way, I still think this particular blackhawk design should be made in 1/18th that or a custom...

The_Helicopter_Pilot, you can create an account here for free:
http://photobucket.com/ (for example)
Then, upload your pictures from Facebook, smartphone or PC.
When you click on it, you get many options, with the "direct link" button, the link is copied and when you write a topic here, you have just to use the button, copy the link between the and you can share with us your pics...

Re: Somebody should do this! (Blackhawk)
No... sorry, I'm neither a computer engineer nor a good english linguist. If you've made an account at photobucket and uploaded pictures, you have to go to the album (file) where they are stored. By selecting one of the picture, meaning opening it, you have a link box appearing on the right, in which you can select "direct link", ...well, ...it seems that I can't explain you better ... and it is possible that the procedure is different now (I've kept the older version)... tell us your code name so we could search your pics... Hey, SSMHQ Members, who can help? I want to have a look at the pictures that have awaken this discussion!!!

Re: Somebody should do this! (Blackhawk)
When you open an album in Photobucket, you should be able to see all the pics you uploaded. If you hover over a pic with the mouse, a list of items will appear. One of them will be "Direct Link" and to the right will be a URL. Click the url with your mouse and go to this forum and reply to a topic.
Along the top of the text field are options starting with "B". Click "Img" and then paste the url from Photobucket between the code, where your cursor should be by default.
You are done.
