Saw these and was pretty impressed. No doubt someone here will snatch them up. Enjoy!

I'll let you know what they're both like when they arrive in a couple of days!

I would have held my money on that Johnny J one. The scoops are way big and she looks crazy rough on the bottom.
The customizer must have ran out of sand paper.

There's work needed for sure (On both of them) but at the very least I've got a good starting point as and when I get time to sort them.
They will be here later today as he's delivering them in person because we're only 25 miles apart...

Didn't see that.
Does look like it needs some work.
But shouldn't be that hard to get it right, and what a good looking Spit.

Re: Custom 1/18 Spitfires on Ebay
The Spitfires arrived on Monday, and having had chance to look them over, as expected there is indeed things to be done on both of the models.
On the JE-J The radiators are too deep, and as can be seen there are areas of the model which will need sanding smooth and rescribing, but I think the majority of the work has already been done to get them looking like later model Spitfires - which is why I went for them. (How many 1/18 MkIX conversions - in any condition - are out there? not too many I would guess.)
The PR blue model needs a bit of work on the rudder and attention to the front of the wing/fuselage joint
Neither will be touched before the Spring, and I will repaint both of them, but not change which aircraft they depict now.
With the JE-J, as well as a respray I intend to add D-Day stripes.
The PR blue I want to respray, but in the same scheme, and with correct red/blue roundels which is how the 1/1 aircraft still looks today.
