I think they just C&P their old description. That's why it said exclusive until we pointed out it's not. Now it does not say that but they have not removed the PH line from the description. They will I'm sure.aferguson wrote:...Is that really a Pearl Harbor scheme? BCT's site says it is..

i collect 1:18 ww2 era figures, i dont really have the room or money for vehicles.
i have been wanting a good japanese figure for awhile.
its a shame really it seems like the best figures getting made right now are the bbi vehicle pack ins.
i was just curious if maybe any of you guys that have bought multiples might have a spare zero pilot you would be interested in selling.
thank you.

Last time I talked to the 21c guys that told me of some japanese figures coming down the pipe. Apparently Chinese customs is making it hard though.
Those magnificent men in their flying machines, go SHOPPING at <a href="http://www.updiddilyupup.com/xcart/home.php"><img src="http://updiddilyupup.com/xcart/skin1/images/xlogo.gif" WIDTH=25%></a>

Japs
They are bulky and perhaps the tallest Japanese guys around but they are sweet. If you only collect figures then do yourself a favor and get some. Ton of detail, good articulation and just plain cool as hell.
There are supposed to be S2 guys which are the same but with a tan uniform - but I am not sure if this is what is held up at customs or another batch of the S1.

They are the size of the Imperial Japanese Army basketball team but i chopped them down at the legs to make them a more realistic height (ie shorter than my US Marines).
They are pretty leggy so you can take a chunk out of the legs and they stil look well proportioned....better proportioned for being shorter, in fact.
Other than the height they are excellent figures.

beautiful
Beautiful picture of the green version Ski. Definetely a keeper as far as I'm concerned.
I couldn't help but to notice the aileron counter-weights still in the wrong position. Oh well, time to the get the hair dryer crancked up again!

A6M2-N
Anyone know if the green zero can be converted into a A6M2-N.
looking in my books it looks do-able, can't find a pic to post. I can probably make some pontoons, the rest looks the same as a standard zero. coments?

well im not a vehicle collector but a figure collector, after being unable to find anyone that wanted to part with a zero pilot i went ahead and ordered a zero my friend taking the plane and me the figure.
it just showed up and WOW this thing is gorgeous! i might have to go ahead and get one for myself.
stunning.

I found a nice link to the Merit website. They have some good pics of the series 2 green zero from bbi.

One hundred and fifty three - 1:18 scale aircraft on the ceiling looks  damn good!
There's a sucker born every minute! Happy to see you appreciate the sexy lines of a WWII aircraft......newwavepop wrote:well im not a vehicle collector but a figure collector, after being unable to find anyone that wanted to part with a zero pilot i went ahead and ordered a zero my friend taking the plane and me the figure.
