Anything good showing up at TRU or Target this season?
If this thread is too much of duplicate to other topics then I apologize. Probably too broad of a question, too. Oh, well....

I have not been, but if I were a betting man . I would say no and put $10 on it.

Have not seen anything. TRU is full of the Chap Mei stuff with a smattering of remaining GI Joe stock and Target has nada. Even GI Joe got squeezed out of Target. I've been going to TRU a bit more recently, but thats because I was looking for a few select Star Wars items. Very sad to see the area that once held all the 21c stuff filled with Chap Mei items

It's not like TRU really has all that many different toys theses days anyway. How many of their aisles are devoted to a single toy line, like Littlest Pet Shop, Barbie, Bratz, Fisher Price, etc.? Toy stores seriously lack variety now; they just play it safe mostly with a handful of known sellers. Wal-Mart now has the best selection - and that is not saying much at all.

I thought that the Bravo Team, Danger & Duty Series, Tactical Team figures might show up at Target, like the Rocon Team and Infantry Force figures did last year. Too much to hope?

I Think I will take a look today as I will not go near These stores and the malls for a week or so. I would rather burn my money then waste time on the Black Thursday/Friday sales and rude people.

I was in the local TRU today shopping for my gf's nephews and they had very few joe figures but they were buy 2 get the 3rd free. They did have some of the 30th anniversary vehicles and a couple Retaliation Fangboats. Also they had stacks upon stacks of True Heroes stuff.

I did end up going to one of our local Target stores last week, for other reasons. But of course, while I was there I made a point of checking out the toy aisles. Nothing of interest. It was very depressing. I'm not even going to bother going to TRU this year. Not Big Lots, either. Bah!

Re: Anything good showing up at TRU or Target this season?
Recently, I have almost completely devoted my buying habits to Marvel Legends figures. The selections for any sort of quality military toys has taken a serious nose dive. I found myself wanting some new modern military figures (because I played through yet another crappy CoD game), and didn't even bother going anywhere but eBay.
Also, GI Joe is only lacking presence because the movie toys are on hold. We won't be seeing anything from the Joes until the new year, since the movie drops in March (Same goes for any quality Star Wars items, as the newest line won't be hitting until early 2013).

I looked at the trap, Ray.
