FoxholeToys.com Diorama Contest Poll
Hello gang!
We tried to reach P-51 but without success. We're certain he is crazy busy, as usual. We'd like to wrap up our F/A-18 Hornet contest and present the lucky winner their Sidewinder but we may need your help.
One prevailing thought is to ask the forum moderators (Aferg??) if it would be alright to host the voting here on this forum. The members here could be the unbiased judges and select the winner in lieu of the gang at FoxholeToys.com. We know many of you well and who better to serve as leading judges in the industry than you guys??? I mean really! We think this would be appropriate and fair to the contestants, as well. If anyone disagrees then I hope we aren't out of place here by suggesting it. NO purchase was necessary and it was just a fun thing we thought everyone would enjoy.
The details would need to be worked out including making sure only ONE vote is available per member and again letting the contestants know the shipping costs are at their expense, etc. before the voting begins.
Thank you all and we hope you are enjoying the start to your Fall season!
Matt

I did too. Had a really neat idea for a dio using Pikelhaube's HO-229 to replicate a scene from a classic movie, but alas it never materialized and I went ahead and bought my own F-18...

Re: FoxholeToys.com Diorama Contest Poll
Hi guys,
I'd like to motivate you all and particularly the highest ranked among us to help Foxhole with the choice of the best diorama made for this contest. Of course, I'm personally interested since I've participated to it, so I'm assuming not to have a neutral opinion.
A simple way could be to show in a specific topic all the pictures, the poll resulting in a message to Foxhole with just the number for which the sender votes. Foxhole will know who polled, and could throw away the message if the sender has allready voted for another #. No technical problem. Any other, better idea?

Absolutely. It would be nice to get a conclusion to this contest, and if the technical aspects can be solved, this would be an excellent way to decide the winner.granch wrote:Hi guys,

Would be nice to hold the competition results here though and i'll put my vote in for whoever is deserving.

I too was going to enter this contest, but was never able to find time to get my pics made of my dio. It would be nice to host this and help them decide the winner, since a great deal of us didn't enter the contest.

Somehow, due to the lack of a poll or any mod response, I doubt this will ever happen. Guess the decision is up to Foxehole.

Anyone heard anything about this yet? It's nearing three months since the end of the contest.
