1/18 Army Harleys at Ollies Outlet

Looks like the outlet stores are gearing up for the Christmas season. Found a bunch of these Harleys in 1/18 at the Ollies here in Greater Cincinnati. They say "die cast" but they seem to be plastic. So what is the true definition of die cast? Thought it was a reference to a cast metal :?: :?: These aren't bad for $5.99 anyway. :) Probably should have bought a couple more. :roll:
