Two questions about Merit tanks:
1. Did the 1/16 T34 and Tiger I sell well enough so Merit might release more 1/16 tanks?
2. What are the chances of a Merit Jagdtiger?
Merit tanks?

Re: Merit tanks?
Thats a good question.....Bad Cat has them at $87.99,
while the 21st and JSI 1:18 Panthers are $2.00 more at $89.99.
They look like nice models but I'll stick to 1:18 scale. I had always
hoped Dragon would come out with a 1:18 Armor line, their figures
were great.
As for the Jagdtiger, Merit would need a King Tiger to start with. It
would seem odd to make a Jagdtiger mold first.....I think the King Tiger
is more popular....
.....and what ever happened to 21st's King Tiger ? I wonder who has all of them?

NORMANDY,
So it looks like the FOV 1/32 Jagdtiger is the only option for a preassembled Jagdtiger.

NORMANDY,
Thanks for the link. That Jagdtiger looks really cool.
Check this link to a Youtube vodeo compaing Jagdtigers from Tamiya and Heng Feng.

Earlier, fellow member Tankduel posted about the Feng Heng Jagdtiger's problems:
"I have one of those Heng Feng Jagdtigers, don't get too excited about getting one, here's why.
Before I bought it I knew the following:
Lower hull has a 'hump' at the front to fit the gearboxes.
Lower hull front and rear has zimmerit, upper does not.
The whole thing is about 3/4" too short.
I have a spare Tamiya KT which I intended to use the lower hull to fix the 'hump' problem and also the zimm mismatch and also planned to add a 3/4' extension to make the Jadg the right length.
But when I got it I realised the sides of the fighting compartment are angled inwards from where they meet the deck instead of being straight, meaning the fighting compartment is not only 3/4'.too short, its also too narrow.
Fixing the length is one thing, but the above problem is a killer for me, easier to scratch the whole thing than modify whats there I think.
Also the side armor has a weird, pronounced texture, I have no idea what they were thinking with that.
Overall I would say the Jagdtiger is surpassed only by the 'Pantiger' for inaccuracy and overall crap factor.

Re: Merit tanks?

and the soon to follow Jagdtiger.
That Heng Feng tank is a poor excuse for a model.
