The Nebelwerfer 41 was one of the first 3D kits I made and I'm very happy to say it has been completely updated. The new v2.0 is now made at Shapeways out of White, Strong and Flexible so all of that 3D "sprue" trimming that was required on the old resin one is no longer needed!

Here is a finished one in Normandy Tri-color.

Nice! Going to get another maybe. The sprue trimming was crazy. I broke a lot of parts. lol

So what's new in version 2 you ask? :D

Original features that were kept:
- Adjustable trail arms for both firing and towing positions
- Kickstand is adjustable for both firing and towing positions
- Rock pod elevates
- Wheels roll


New and improved features:
- One rocket and rocket container with lid is included
- Rocket fits into rocket pod!
- Trail arms "snap" onto chassis (no glue or bolts needed)
- Rocket pods snap into chassis (no glue)
- Kickstand snaps onto chassis (no glue or bolts needed)
- Hole for wheel axle is pre-drilled
- Tires updated with more accurate tread pattern

Oh and there is also an ammo kit available so you can fill each and every tube in preparation for the big attack!

what are those little pimples all over the barrels? Are those marks on every piece of every kit?
i never met an airplane i didn't like...

They are the bolts that hold the rocket guide rails to the inside of the barrels. Hard to see in black and white photos but more clear here.

ooh....nice attention to detail. I thought they were some side effect of the printing process...ha.
