new corsair

this may be old news but just found out myself that 21c's new corsair is going to be a "bunker hill" paint scheme. Due jan/feb supposedly.
disregard this if I'm 3 months behind.

Where did you get this info? Sounds cool if its true. I wonder if its going to be part of the new line by 21st, the Legends Series? Very interesting to say the least.

I talked to a guy who works in the shipping dept. for 21c. I agree, very cool looking, big arrow on the tail, etc. We shall see.

That's interesting cause i was just thinking that what we really need is yet another Corsair before the Avenger, F-86, MiG 15 ,Me 262, more armour etc etc..

It is hard to swallow delays when you know they've spent time on a repaint but we all know that's part of why a plane gets made - it can be repainted 8 times....so we can't really complain when they repaint them. It's not about what we really need, but rather what sells - you will notice you cannot buy a 21st Corsair from BCA or ToyFed right now. Sold out. So time for another. Same for the P-38 - sold out, time for another one. At least they are kind enough to give us new versions, and not just another Kepford or Putt-Putt

Just add them to the list slated for Q1

21c is supposed to release their legends pappy boyington corsair first, then the new corsair, then ??? avenger.
Still, cant have to many corsairs, I'd like to see an australian example.

Interesting news about the new Corsair. That late version should have the rockets and no canopy braces.

I guess I'll stop working on my Bunker Hill Corsair custom repaint (Hedrick's white 167)

. I've been able to work on it a bit at a time and am not near finished. I do have some nice custom decals with the arrows by Lair, though!

Well, let's see what I could do now. Maybe a post-war racer??
