I think you're probably right. The P-51B/C is a smart choice. The opportunity to milk that mold is almost endless with many aces. Though the option to do so, not restricted to an over abundance of 1944 - on bare aluminum schemes.
A Spitfire IX would cover a lot of liveries from Euro schemes, to Mediterranean, and even Pacific theaters. They wouldn't have to change the tropical filter because it looks the same. Many high scoring aces in this aircraft too.
FW-190, same thing many aces, multiple theaters.
Though we've been surprised before, could be something totally unexpected like the Dauntless. It's fun to speculate though.
I'm glad the Huey is being done. I only have one Air America version.
Watch some 21stC Hueys being unloaded for better prices I suspect.
