I would check greatmodels online store and also your local hobby shop might be able to special order them.. They do make decals for the AVG planes in 1/32 scale.. Here are a few links for you..pilotman wrote:I have a P-40 with blue dots on the wings instead of the chinese markings on 21c website. AAAAAAh

Thanks hworth,
those are exactly what I'm looking for.
Anyone know why 21c made the p-40 this way, it doesnt look the same as on their web?

Re: decals for P-40
You should have had a decal strip with the two markings seperate in the box. If not, 21st should send you one.

I'm going out on a limb with this guess. I'd say since the planes are manufactured in Communist China, they might offend the government with Imperial Chinese markings. Mao=good! Chiang Kai Shek=bad!

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit. No use being a damn fool about it.

Hoverbug is correct in that there are "stars" on a seperate sheet in the box.. But they are STICKERS and not decals.. The decals would probably look better than stickers..
Flpickupman is right as to the reason why.. Some factories in China refuse to put the Chinese nationalistic symbol on anything.. And from what I understand, it is becoming a common practice..

thanks every one. I did see the "stickers" in the box but they're kinda cheesy. Cutting edge has abeutiful set available. I also talked to 21c today and they confirmed what you all have said regarding the "chinese" issue and the politically incorrect markings.
Also commented on some japaenese figures they're having a hard time getting through china, no more info than that though.
