Wouldn’t it be nice to have a 1:18 Kettenkrad?

Post by lsc1002 » Fri Nov 11, 2005 3:38 pm

What do you guys think about a 1:18 Kettenkrad? I think it would be a great vehicle; perfect size so that the detail would not be lost. Has there ever been any talk of producing a Kettenkrad in this scale? I think the folks at 21st Century toys should get right on it! lol

It would be very cool 8)
It is well done in 1/6 by 21st so hopefully we will see it someday. The 1:18 scale armor just doesn't have the same "juice" as the planes, no matter what we say or how much we wish it were not so. :( So it may be a little while, but hopefully someday.

Does Maisto have any tracked vehicles in 1:18? I would never expect it from them, but stranger things have happened...

no tracked vehicles but a kettenkrad is very motorcycle like in both size and layout and seems like sort of a natural

Yes, I've been waiting for this myself. I hope it comes out when we get our 1/18 ME-262. It would look good in a diorama. :)

Thank`s for the kind words, though must admit i`d love to see one being manufactured too :D

Lance,
As for timeframe mate. It`s hard to say an actual time,as it`s when time permits I work on it.
Though almost done now, just needs a few more pieces doing to it & then painted :D
