It's OFFICIAL! New pics of the upcoming BBI Pilot Figures

Hello all!

We just received the F/A-18 Pilot product photos from BBI. The molds are indeed the same as the previously released Hornet pilots. There are minor paint differences mostly shading but they have added a NEW head sculpt.

The "un"painted version looks to come in a solid dark green color.

Cool! Glad I preordered a couple of the painted ones. Neat the other one is going to be an African American pilot.

any word if bbi is going to release it's wwii pacific pilot? Would be pretty handy for the upcoming dauntllesses.
i never met an airplane i didn't like...

i am going to buy 4 !

2 for my tomcat (I will paint the helmet in yellow )

and 2 for my futur Dauntless ( it will be a "modern" warbird )

I also hope BBI releases its 1/18 Navy pilot.....they would sell a lot since 2 pilots are needed each for each Merit Dauntless, and Merit has announced two Dauntlesses so far.

I'll have to custom paint one to have a tan flightsuit and a desert MARPAT color scheme on his helmet...

Hola!

We just heard from BBI and the Pilot Figures will be at their warehouse August 10th and will then ship out thereafter.

We've been hammering them to re-release the WW2 Corsair Pilots for the past year. Hopefully they will take notice of the tremendous interest in the bagged figures as they have been flyin'...no pun intended. ;)

Received an email from BadCat Toys today telling me that my 2 F-18 pilots ( for my Tomcat) have shipped. Looking forward to seeing how they fit in the Cat.

They should fit fine. I used one of my Golden Dragon's F-18 pilots and a F-16 pilot and they work great!
