Don't think I've ever bought anything there without the coupon. You can print off as many in a week as you want online.

Take a friend or three. The coupons are one per customer PER DAY. I handed a kit, a coupon, and a $20 to my 5yo and put her in line ahead of me so I could use two coupons.

I do the same! I print off a bunch and give one to some friends or family members and reap the savings![CAT]CplSlade wrote:Take a friend or three. The coupons are one per customer PER DAY. I handed a kit, a coupon, and a $20 to my 5yo and put her in line ahead of me so I could use two coupons.

This week I bought four EM planes and a cool little pre-painted, snap-together 1:72 Spitfire. I really like the Jumpin' Jacques P-51. The wide black and white stripes on the wings and fuselage are very cool. A P-51 in this very scheme flies at airshows. I also got the tropical 109E, the Unadilla killa P-47D and the squigly camo ME 262.
I had a lot of fun putting the Spitfire together. I used to always have a kit or two on the work bench but I have hand tremors and can't build models anymore, and forget about applying decals. Even getting the pieces in the right place on the Spit was kinda hard. After a few curse words it all worked out though.

Checked out Hobby Lobby today with a coupon in my wallet and got the late war all blue Petrof Bay FM-2 Wildcat with the shamrocks on the tail and right wing. This model was not there the last I was in the store. I was in a hurry and running out of fun money so I didn't really pay attention to what else they had.

How about my original question.....anyone bought from hobby-space.com? Okay to deal with? They've got good prices on the Easy Model 1/72 aircraft. Can't find any comments/reviews about them, and I'm kind of hesitant to buy from them for fear of getting taken.

I had not heard of Hobby-space until your post. I'm guessing most of the others haven't either as for why you're not getting replies.

Welcome to the forum jridge.
Haven't heard of them myself, but I have only ever heard of a couple of problems with any dealer a couple of times. And that is from an international community that has purchased thousands of models. And those dealers were in the US.
If you pay by Paypal, you should be covered, and the dealer doesn't see your credit card info.
Of course, it is up to you.
