1:1 scale tank parts
Someone told me diet cola was a cheap way to get rid of rust, so here goes!

The phosphoric acid in the diet cola seems to have worked reasonably well for the Panzer IV track link.  I just wiped it off with a ball of aluminium foil and the metal coloured stuff appeared as if by magic.
There are some hard scaley bits on the Panzer II track, though, so I think I'll have to chip those off and try it again. I guess it might be hard mud instead of rust.
