Yeah I came across these models last year just before Christmas. I was planing on purchasing their Douglas DC-3 for my grandfather as a gift. I was even ready to create a set of Eastern Airlines decals to put on on it as well since he work for the company many years back. But the price was too much to handle so I bought him a few "plastic" aircraft models instead. If I had the money I'd get them all for sure though.

Corey,
Is it possible to open the door? Could you make a close up view to have a look inside the cabin and cockpit?

Greetings

I don't think the door opens and with it being such a expensive piece I don't want to force it open. Authentic Models planes usually do not have opening parts so I highly doubt the door and cockpit opens. I'm sure with a little prying you might be able to get them open, but I am not doing that on such an expensive plane.

Corey

You can find many photos of these online especially on ebay of all places.

This site offers many close ups of this particular plane as well too. And the doors I believe are welded shut as this is never brought up in the features section of the sale of these planes. If they did however it would certainly have been mention somewhere on any of the countless sites that offer these for sale.

There appears to be two small seats in the cockpit but that seems to be about it.
