Any interest in this ?

Post by exether_mega » Tue Jan 31, 2012 12:42 pm

Hello guys,

just wondering if there is some interest in this sherman conversion ?

http://www.network54.com/Forum/110741/m ... herman+M32

Maybe Pickelhaube could do a kit if there is enough interest.

Hey Phil,

It is GREAT news that you are posting again. We surely have missed you.

I saw that M-35 ( ? ) on Missing Lynx this morning and I thought of you. Didn't your dad have one of these park in front of his house back in WW2 ?

I have a 1/35 version of this ready to start the conversion but as always , I got side tracked :?

I think that if you are a Shermie fan , this is a must have.

Hey Pickel,

so good to be back ! I hope my next chemo (I start it tomorrow) will let me more time to be more present.

That's true, my dad told me that a M-35 stayed some days in front of his house due to some mechanical problems. It was in mid september 1944.

I hope I am not the only one to have such interest in that version. As you say, it's a must have for ant Shermy fan !

I am not a Shermie fan but i like this version of the Sherman. The two big hatches on the turret(one in front of the other),the tool boxes and all that piping makes it look so different in a weird way,and i like weird tanks.I can imagine having this tank towing a destroyed Sherman. This is one cool looking Sherman.

The one in a pic is. I think that this could go on any Shermie out there. But I am not sure about that.

They used them mostly on older Shermans.

So the FOV and 21st should work fine.

I guess on the BBI as well but those are fetching high prices now a days.
