Picked up the MM set today at TRU. Even though I wasn't planning on getting the set, I just couldn't resist since the two vehicles in the set are worth the $40 price tag alone. :D

Saw four of these sets at the TRU in Fresno, Ca. Its a great set, but I've already got two each of the command car and truck, so I think I'll have to pass.

It's not 21st doing the recon - it's US! At least 10 people on the board have it, it's not just a fantasy. The Skn. is posted earlier in the thread. It comes up as WWII Battle Pack or Bulk Pack in the TRU computer. Use the Skn. with TRU, always the Skn......

Finally came across this set at TRU in Elyria, Ohio. Only one on the shelf and it was MINE! Until I took a good look at it. Great price for the two vehicles...but...when I saw the figures-they reminded me of the figures from the Armored Personnel Carrier set. I couldn't believe it! I finally FOUND something new in XD-and I put it back. Do hope they sell as maybe someday I'll find more XD back at TRU. But I'm passing on this set...if only the figures looked as good as their Japanese soldiers...sigh...

Hey, Kevrut! Good to hear from you again! I sent you a few pm's but no reply's back. I don't know about the 'willpower'...knowing me, I'd probably regret getting this set if it wasn't for me buying a bunch of XD from you! But I already have both of these vehicles.

I agree, these figures would go great with a Market Garden set, but hey if 21st comes out with a Bridge Too Far set than I guess we'll have some regular paratroopers to go with James Caan and Robert Redford.

Thought I'd go back to the TRU where I purchased my set a few days ago to get one for a friend and to my amazement they were all gone!!!! :( They had 5 sets left and I thought at least one of them would be available just a few days later. I guess the old adage holds true: "YOU SNOOZE YOU LOSE" :(

I examined this set at one of the local TRUs today. Does one of the figures have a neck/head articulation that allows for a face-forward position when prone? Slap me if this has already been covered.

I got weak. I spotted one set left at a TRU here...and bought it! I was afraid at first that the figures may be...not the best, I was wrong! This set is COOL!! Don't be a boob like I was and pass it by!
