What is your favorite 32X armor or aircraft or even bolth???

That's not an FW-190D9 (its an A8), but it is a great model! Also HTF these days, so take care of it

Strictly speaking from the 21c 32x series, my favorites are as follows:

Favorite aircraft: 32x FW-190 A8/F8. (I can't decide on any one particular scheme, but either Yellow 9 or Red 19 would be tops).
Favorite armor: Panzer 38T. (21c really nailed it on this one and its detail is a far cry from the early 32x pieces).

Runner-ups for 32x Aircraft: P-51B (Bald Eagle or Bullfrog), retooled P-51D (Duble Nuthin), and the Corsair (VF-17 Big Hog).
Runner-ups for 32x Armor: Hetzer, Marder IIIM, and the M-113. The M113 is probably one of the best all-round pieces of 32x armor.

Aircraft: BBI F-4 Phantom (one of the best 1:32 aircraft, period); runner ups: Corgi DH Mosquito, BBI Dauntless
Armor: FOV Jagdpanther (S1 Normandy version); runner ups: FOV T-34, FOV Panther, FOV Panzer IV, FOV 88mm Gun

Any of the FW 190's. A or D.

Great fighter aircraft, and a very important part of the Luftwaffe, and extremely happy to see this done in 1/32.

I am lucky enough to have three customs of these done by HWorth {Harry}, and these are my favourites of the FW 190's done.

Runner up goes to Corsair, another model that deserved to be done in 1/32.

My favorite pre-built 1:32 is the BBI SBD Dauntless, though BBI

... but if it is 32X, I would have to say the:

Aircraft:

Zero "Nishizawa" (the ace of aces didn't need no fancy pants paint scheme, it's all weathered) the Zero is just built well and looks right, the canopy doesn't fall off, even though not the best detailed, and newest mold, I like it the best.

runners up:

FW-190A/D "Black 2"
P-51D "Double Nuthin" (second tooling)

Not an armor guy, but if I had to pick one or two, these are very nicely detailed, and have lots of moving parts:

Opel Halftrack grey version
Opel cargo grey version (runner-up) I just like the way 21stC put the grey on, it's all faded, looks right.

There's some other very good aircraft, like the P-51B/C, Spitfire MKI/II, but little things like the canopies that fall off keep them from being my favorites. The Corsair's folding wings though a cool play feature, detract from the aircraft's detail and look wonky.

I was basing mine on 21 Century 1/32.

For 1/32 in general. I would have to go for the Corgi Mosquito, and GMP P-40.

All the Corgi 1/32 are very well done, and have some good heft to them.

GMP did four P-40's.

Texas Longhorn- the cheapest, and most available. Can be had for around $100.





Aleutian Tiger- Harder to find, and more expensive. Figure on paying $150, or more.





RAF Kittyhawk- About the same as Aleutian Tiger.






And "Old Exterminator", flown by Robert Scott. The most desirable, and expensive. These frequently go for $300 on Ebay.







They are all great quality, and Texas Longhorn is a great way to get aquainted with the GMP line. Aerials are nice and tight, and the landing gear goes up and down at the press of a button.

GMP are now out of business, and these will never be produced again. Limited production runs as well, of usually 1,000 units.

They also did 8 different P-51's, but their P-40's are simply one of the best pieces of diecast aircraft ever done.

Just goes to show ya, the later P-40's would have been a good choice for 21stC to put out in 1:32, or even 1:18.
There's a lot more schemes for this fighter that was in every theatre of WWII, and some really cool nose art.
There's later P-40's with a skull and crossbones on it, and even one with a parrot beak on the nose, a supposed pink / tan version out of Makin island, Pacific, and of course a Tuskeegee and Flying Tiger.
The Russians, Australians,.etc.. flew them too.

Alas 21stC never got to it, but still a good choice for BBI, Merit, or even Allgo, if we get anything new from the latter, the re-paints could be numerous, and a good first choice to milk it for all it's worth. I'd buy every one.

That's because it doesn't have spots...

Actually, I think the 'A' & 'J' aren't painted correctly.
Other than that, I think it's an excellent plane.

Well its not suppose to have spots thats just something JSI fd up on but is what im saying is it looks foam and not (32X) lol

I forgot Double Nothin'! My favorite P-51, followed closely by Don Gentile's Shangri-La.

Not 32x but I have always loved the Aleutian Tiger scheme P-40. I managed to pick up the 1:48 version put out by 21st. Never did see a 1:32 Warhawk or Zero in the wild.

I think initially what makes some people think the 4D Vision Jolly Rogers Tomcat no look right is really the tone and hue of the paint chosen. The 4D model appears to have a pure white...a titanium white, so bright its overbearing. The actual US Navy white is Insignia white which isn't so bright. The BBI Phantom's underside is the right color. Same for the gray. Gloss Gull Gray is the FS color for US Navy. The gray on this model appears to be good. However, there is not even a slight sheen to the paint which would give the paint some softer texture versus the stark dry look of pure matte paint which is why I think one may think it looks like foam. I think if 4D added a little of panel line weathering it would have broke up the intensity of the paint job. For anyone who has one and doesn't want to weather their's one could polish it to get some sheen. That would improve it a little.

The A and the J are not the right style. the bottom and tops of both letters should be parallel to the ground on both tails. I believe the manufacturer must have landed a copy of CAM Decals 1/32 scale decals of this jet. Unfortunately that decal maker got the angle and pitch of the letters incorrect. No VF-84 jet had their letters deviate from the ones shown in the pictures of VF-84 AJ201 above during the time they were part of CVW-8 1976-1994. Sadly the only 1/32 decals of yellow and black Jolly Rogers Cats for 1975-1982 come with either the 1977 Tamiya F-14 kit or the newer Trumpeter kit circa 2010 release. That's pretty cost prohibitive. All the aftermarket 32 scale Jolly Rogers decals made represent the short time VF-84 went to black/white or gray/white. So correcting the tails isn't quite as easy as we would hope short of making stencils and painting them.
