2 New 32x planes by Christmas

I predict within the next 10 years we'll see a 1/18 t-34. As far as Russian aircraft goes.................................

It's been so often discussed on here but the 'toy makers' don't seem to want to listen to us. We were right about the Zero as sales are and will show; we're right about Russian armour and aircraft too. Not only historically HUGELY significant but also, much of it is cool looking as hell (Sturmovik, Yak-9, Su-100, ISU-152 and on and on..).

Looks like I'll have to pick up that "White 9" XD Bf-109G also..

We were right about the Zero as sales are and will show; we're right about Russian armour and aircraft too.

Well, a Zero is certainly more famous than any Russian plane, and the whole PH angle helps there too.
I hope we were right about the Zero so that they take our word on more stuff - but I think the Zero's success is little indication of how many Yaks would sell....that is until the collector market is large enough to support new AC all by ourselves. I think we are almost there since BCT sells more than 1:18 AC than TRU.
Yea, BCT blew through a few thousand Zeros, but let's remember they were the only ones who had them! Has a new plane ever debuted as a small retailer exclusive? Also, BCT customers are the "hardcores" - not the grandma shopping for Xmas presents. Hell, even Grandma may know the Zero but likely not a Yak anything.

Red Cowl P-51 Mustang
"Black 4" Me-262
Macchi 202 Folgore
Mitsubishi Zero (Green)
"Black 12" Fw-190D-9

All I can say is, this is going to be a VERY Merry Christmas!!!...

I don't think that the "grandma" market cares one little bit about what kind of AC, tank whatever they buy. It just has to look cool, awesome, whatever. I think there are far more knowlegdable buyers or somewhat
knowledgsable buyers than are supposed. The 32X planes do not stay on the shelves around here. My local WM had 15-20 of these AC Thursday last week. Yesterday (Tuesday) they had none. Somebody's doing targeted buying on these. There are XDs there that have sat there forevere! Also, I think granny and her ilk would definately pass on the German stuff, yet it's the stuff first of the shelves!? Little Johnie might be a ME buff but show him a La-7 with a totally cool paint job and he'll definately start saving his pennies and just maybe look into that really cool, awesome, whatever Soviet bird. There was a day when everyone believed you couldn't sell a Sherman (actually, it's still a problem in spite of evidence to the contrary).

I buy at least 3 or 4 of each plane and really load up on the ME-262s. If they make it, I'll buy it.

Dave - you said it, can't compare XD to 32x. We were talking about maybe getting these planes in 1:18. I don't disagree with you at about 1/32 selling w/o Grandma. Until I have 2 Stugs variants & M3 Grant, I need grandma.
