I tried to find where this topic was posted in the past (about a year ago), but couldn't...
Really frustrated with my BBI F18 main landing gear - My Marauders, Golden Dragons & Jolly Rogers are all sagging on the right side main gear (the Golden Dragons on both sides). The only one that isn't is my Red Devils...
Someone had suggested dipping the gear in boiling water for a certain amount of time - Tried this a couple of times with no success.
I would hang them w/gear up, but not enough room for 3 of them!
Anyone have any ideas?

Gear up for me, on one of Pizzaguy's acrylic stands.
You could get one of these stands for each one you want to display, 456THBG.
He has done a stand, specifically for the F-14, that just supports the model, while the gear is down. Takes the weight off the landing gear, and gives the illusion that it is actually resting on its wheels. Perhaps you could contact Nathan and see if he would do one of these for your F-18[s].
Alternatively, you could try and come up with this type of support stand yourself. A plastic shop should be able to help you out in regards to this. Hopefully you have one locally. Even something simple to just support it, and keep it level.
Expensive models, that are worth spending a little extra on to display properly.
Hope you can get it figured out, 456THBG.

Check with Nathan (pizzaguy), I am using his stands for my F-14/F-16 and F/18 which let you display them with gear down, supports plane without gear taking any of the weight. Great investment. Couldn't do without them. These will definately solve your problem.

Thanks, guys, for your advice!
Think I'll get in touch w/Nathan to check on the stands...
