Custom work. 262 pic added

Post by flyboy_fx » Wed Oct 19, 2011 1:53 pm

Hi everyone,

Just thought I would let everyone know that I'm getting more free time now, because summer is ending, to do more custom work.
I am having trouble keeping my own hobbies afloat and could use any work anybody is willing to give. I keep my repaint prices as low as I can.
I can paint almost any scheme you want or could think of on almost any airplane or tank!
I've been spending hours upon hours researching paints to pull off almost all Luftwaffe RLM schemes. I can paint a variety of numbers, insignia, and other markings. Some pose a challenge though, for things like that I will have Jackson make decals for it.
But for the most part I can stencil and paint most numbers and insignia, just things like pin up art, luftwaffe divisional shields, and highly detailed stuff like that requires a decal.

I will guarantee my work, if your not 100% happy with it it will be free, minus the cost of shipping and the little bit in supplies. (So I at least break even) Or I will repaint it for you no extra charge.

I will also start back up making bunkers soon for those that are interested. I have been too busy so they where pushed to the side unfortunately. But they will come really soon!!! :D

I have a few luftwaffe paint jobs coming up that should show my abilities to replicate an image given to me. Just have to wait for these darn paints to arrive in the mail! :P

I seen your work and is very realistic.I like the Dak Panzer IV.I saw on you tube the build on that tank. That video make me realize that custom work is a art that takes time, trial and error to master.I feel is better to leave the paintings to the pros like you.
I have the new millenium desert panzer and it lack so much detail plus many things are not correct, like the turret side crew hatches and much more.
I would recommend for those who get the tank painted with lots of weather,to get the figures that are going to be display next to the tanks weathered.Depending if is desert ,snow, mud, bloody or dusty conditions. Some Ultimate Soldier figures are to clean and shinny and they really could use some battle hardened paint jobs. Also for those who buy a kit from Pickel,Gary or the Hun.Do you assemble those resin kits?

I have not done a lot of resin but I've been practicing with it. Finding good methods on filling the bubbles, ect... So yea I can do them.

For figures, a lot of times some flat coat does them wonders!!! I've tried testors but, sometimes the enamel reacts with the soft plastics making them shiny and sticky. (Very bad) :| I usually hit figures with some acrylic matte coat. That does the charm! Maybe a little airbrush shadowing too. :D
