Ultimate Soldier Sahl BF-109 G-6 - AWESOME!
I just got the Sahl G-6 109. Absolutely amazing. The detail and paint job is incredible. Iw iish they would give the pilot's head a new look but other then that for $50 bucks you can't beat it. They did a great job on it.

Ithink the only mods will be repositioning the aerial and adding the loop.. I might do some exhaust stains......RobC70 wrote:I'm curious as to what mods you make? I am considering a few myself. A little wear and exhaust stains might look cool....

The plane is GREAT as it is, that's why i won't have to do much..

Just got the Hackl and really like it. I compaired it to the early 190E and found the size very close. I'm wondering how accurate the scale is on the both of them.
I thought the 'G' was quite a bit bigger than the 'E' - specifically the engine area. Also, I thought the 'E's engine area was a bit too short. Thoughts?
I really like the 'G', the only thing I dislike is the figure. Not the right size for the aircraft, legs fall off & is generally substandard.
The plane more than makes up for that. Came with a couple of decals for the tail - nice touch.
Hopefully they will produce another German pilot figure (better) that we can buy later.
Just waiting for the German F104 & the Zero....

Best 109?
Are the new 109's from new molds? I.e. are these planes part of 21st's Legend Series? Also, I am probably going to buy one and only one of the new 109's: the Sahl, Rall, or Hackl. I am wondering which would be the 'best' selection. I generally collect one of each aircraft, so I want to make an good decision about the 109. Any input appreciated. Thanks.

The 109G's are from a new mold.. The first S1 version was the Graf..SpareParts wrote:Are the new 109's from new molds? I.e. are these planes part of 21st's Legend Series? I have all 4 and I think my favorite would be the Sahl, followed by the Rall, and the Hackl..
