This is the first F model I have ever seen in 1/18 that is totally correct, I spent some time on it, some blood sweat and tears and then some more time but it was worth it.
Thanks, what stands out to you that I may have missed?hworth18 wrote:Well, I wouldn't say "totally correct" but it is very nice and very close... Good jobJnewboy wrote:Ok guys, here it is, enjoy!

The fuselage cross is slightly too far back and the canopy is still one piece. It should have been modified where the rear section is fixed and only the center part opens. I don't know if this is a flaw with the original model, and it might have been too hard to change but that is what stands out to me.Jnewboy wrote:Thanks, what stands out to you that I may have missed?hworth18 wrote:

Thanks Aircobra, I started it thinking I was just going to take off the oil cooling scoops and redo the wheel wells but once that was all done I couldn't just leave the G2 canopy so I started playing with the notion of using a E canopy and adapting it to the body, It was not easy, but I am glad I was able to do it and still have it open and close.Airacobra wrote:That is a really sharp looking 109.
