How Do You Display Your Collection?

In my case there is a definite pecking order with some diecast and plastic warbirds getting preferred treatment over armor models. Even so, I have so many of these replicas----about 1000 aircraft----roughly 750 diecast and 250 plastic----and 400 AFVs on display that about half of the warbirds as well as all of the AFV's are consigned to wooden bookcases located in two rooms which also serve other purposes-----storage, my repaint/repair area, etc. I organize my warbirds by country and era----WWI, WWII and Post-WWII-----with all scales mixed together. The AFVs are grouped by scale and country. Also, there are several thematic sections like the Spanish Civil War, The North African Campaign, etc. Here are two pictures showing the favored half of my warbird collection----my WWII U.S., German, Japanese and British birds-----which is housed in eight glass enclosed display cabinets that wrap around the walls of a large former master bedroom:

Although I don't have pics yet. I am going to display my 1:32nd scale collection via a giant dio. It will have a bocage, small village and about 80+ vehicles. Any layout sugguestions are welcome.

Are most of them 1/72 dragon armors?

I have a lot of 1:72nd scale models from Dragon, Easy Model and other lines which are in the bottom two shelves on the last picture, however I favor the 1:43-1:50th scale and have a large number of Corgi, Solido, Gaso.line and other models in this scale range as well as still larger ones from King & Country, Figarti, Kit-makes, etc.

LOTS of display cabinets as well.

I display mine on uncovered glass shelving. Although my expensive F1 and Le Mans cars are in a nice buffet hutch, to protect them.

Rotate my display, and have about 15 displayed at any one time.
