My Small Scale Japanese Fighters

Post by Epap » Sat Sep 10, 2011 4:34 am

The Hachette Collections Japan series includes many unusual Japanese fighters in 1:87th scale. The quality, over-all, is the best of any of the publisher distributed lines, with pilot figures included along with considerable detail and quite decent paint/marking jobs. Here's a picture of most of the Hachette fighters I currently have on display. Coming soon will be a Rex, Sam, Kikka ( ME-262 adaptation), Shinden and Shushi ( ME-163 adaptation ):Image

Epap, Just how many models do you have.

Every thread you post is packed with unique subjects, in various schemes. 8)

I have all of five Japanese aircraft.

Thanks, Snake. I have about 1600 diecast models but this includes a lot of extras bought years ago for the purpose of doing more repaints that I can ever manage. Silly me! The real collection, counting all of the small scale lines---Atlas, Hachette, Fabbri, etc. as well as brands like IXO, Oxford/Atlas, Altaya, etc. is closer to 900-1000. I'm buying more selectively these days but am still after as many "unusual subjects" as I can find.
