ships ahoy?

Post by aferguson » Sun Aug 14, 2011 2:56 pm

anyone done anything about ships in this scale? Clearly building whole ships is out of the question but maybe some have made little bits of ships? Red has made that great landing ship tank bow and a chunk of a troop ship, both of which he's showcased in his dio's. Anyone else doing something like that?

I've got a few ideas but haven't had the gumpshin (sp?) to do anything yet. I plan to make the stern of a wwii era british destroyer, complete with depth charge racks and depth charge throwers and also would like to make a battleship turret sometime.

It would be cool if somebody made AA guns stations, like the 1/6 gi joe bofors of a few years back.

Now, there is my 1/18 klingon bird of prey i made...cloaked.
i never met an airplane i didn't like...

I was starting to make the coning tower of a German U boat. It would be the tower and deck gun....
