is that a chap mei creation? Looks to 'normal' to be from them. I know chap mei was coming out with a c-17 but hadn't heard of the c-130. Very cute. The joe guys will love it.

Here's a thread from the F 118th. Apparently it's got a 34 inch wingspan? Pretty impressive for Chap Mei. There is also mention of other things including a reasonable looking troop truck (it's based on a Russian design). I didn't have time to read the thread so i don't know any details.

how'd the truck look? How did it compare in size to the Indian Jones truck? It has no windshield and the cab is open at the top. With some work it could be useful though, if the size is adequate. I remember when i first saw pics of these a couple of years ago, i thought i'd make it into an NVA Ho Chi Mihn trail type truck.

I was looking through the Toys R us stuff and some of the true heros figures look new. I see a few in a kneeling and standing firing position.

Reminds me of the old Galoob Battle Squads C-130, except that was properly scaled to the 1:64 scale figures and vehicles of that line and really was a neat plane - not quite as funky as the Chap Mei deal

Would look pretty sweet painted like a Coast Guard Herc. A hurricane hunter, perhaps?

Despite the obvious scale issue and toyishness, it's tempting in a way. Looks like the greenhouse lacks glass, howver, which is hard to correct,
