1 18 M56?

Post by B17Fortress » Thu Jun 30, 2011 11:33 am

Is the M56 smart gun that comes with the 30th anniversary G.I. Joe Iron Grenadier to scale or over/under scale? The figure also comes with what looks like an FG-42 with a bayonet.

If these are to scale, I will definitely buy quite a few when they come out.

The FG-42 has been out for a while now with at least a couple GI Joe figures (the one pictured would be the third, I think). It first appeared with the 25th Anniversary Cobra Paraviper figure a few years ago. It is to-scale and is a really nice accessory with removable clip and folding stock 8)

Has Mauraders made a copy yet?

Sadly no. I wish Marauder John would get more into the WWII weapons besides the hand gernades, luger, M1928, MG34 and the upcoming MP40. He understandibly is making these weapons for the modern-era G.I. Joe fans, but would it hurt to make a really nice STG-44, G43, or M1919 with the butt stock?

When he begins to take requests for wave 8, I will make sure to recommend these WWII guns.

John will always take suggestions either email him or go to his FB page. But a small hint have some finesse to your suggestion because his page is covered with people with suggestions.

Interestingly the Stg/MP 44 was on the list for Series 6 but was later shelved because it and some other items were going to delay the whole series by months.

Also he's releasing the drum for the MG 34 which was supposed to go with a MG42 that was for Series 6 but it was one of the others that got shelved.
