Some Unusual Russian Armor Items
I now have six of the 1:72nd scale diecast renditions of Russian armored vehicles from the GE Fabbri series now being distributed in Russia primarily via subscription. The latest is the T-90, currently the Russian's main battle tank which sports a 125 mm canon, better armor, etc. but is being made in limited numbers due to the country's poor financial situation ( the Indians are also major export version buyers ). Here's a picture of the T-90 in its original form:

Here's the same model after a repaint and some weathering/staining:

And here are all six models. These are the T-90 plus two pre-war multi-turreted tanks--the T-28 and T-35----as well as a PT-76 amphibious tank and two APCs---the standard BMP-1 and a more compact version, the BMD, used by the airborne forces.

Wow, I'd love a 1:72 T-35. How does one go about getting hold of these?

Indeed !! That T-35 is quite a rare piece. That one would be the prize of my collection.
