POLL: what new 1:32 scale aircraft would you like to see?
If you could have ONE new aircraft in 1:32 scale, one that had not already been done by 21st Century, BBI, or Forces of Valor - what would you pick?

I would like a WWII Soviet fighter. Post WWII would be MIG 15 or an F85.

Re: POLL: what new 1:32 scale aircraft would you like to see
I love these like to see aircraft polls.
I'm going to have to go with the P-40 E. It hasn't been done yet. It would be my first choice.
Simply because a manufacturer can get more mileage out of it in repaints than any other aircraft with all the different allied planes on every front, and the choice of paint schemes, particularly nose art. (I want my Aleutians Tiger man!)
We almost got there when 21stC did the Warhawk in 1:48. I'd include the P-40N which 21st did also in 1:48 but then that would be two aircraft and quite a bit different with the canopy and extended fuselage.
P-40E, the most common and prolific Warhawk.

OK, I'll bite...
A 1/32 B-17 is my Holy Grail of scale aircraft collecting, & to think we were so close to having one---as close as the prototype produced by 21CT...(and don't remind me that Figarti made one, I'm never gonna own a model that costs more than a major appliance)...and if that wish is too grandiose for this poll, I'll go for a Skyraider...Korean era, Viet Nam, whatever, wrap it up, I'll take it...

If you're willing to DIY or pay someone, you can have some of the ones being mentioned:

And obviously not for $14, either. That boat has sailed and capsized at the mouth of the harbor.
BUT IN RESPONSE TO TOPIC -
I am still anticipating Revell's He-111 this fall. I got the Arado seaplane and it looks to be a nice build even without buying the detailing kit (which costs as much as the plane itself) and the He162 and Ju88 kits are also great kits.
As far as a prebuilt, which is what I'm sure was the intent of the poll, I would say we are due something new Japanese or something Soviet.

I will think outside the box and say I'd like to see a Curtiss Helldiver. It would be a great compliment to the Dauntless by BBI.

But really, anything modern would be fine with me, the teen series fighters, helicopters... Maybe even transport aircraft, C-5, C-17, C-130, imagine the dioramas that could be made with tanks inside of planes...
But it will never happen. I'm supposed to be grateful that a manufacturer might grace us with another P-51. Or a repaint of another FW 190 ever-so-carefully painted in the exact scheme of some WWII German that I could not care less about, minus, of course, a few details that those who would actually care will be sure to notice.
Ugh...

Corgi has done the Hurricane in 1/32. Also the Mosquito.
I would prefer the poll to be, "Aircraft not done in 1/32 by any diecast manufacturer".

Yeah I had the same fubar-snafu in my last attempted poll, but we would assume it's 1:32 plastic prebuilt no?
Also what part of "ONE" aircraft do we not understand, huh Corey?

Can't have P-51's, P-47's, Me-109's, Me 262's FW 190's , Zeros, SBD's, & Wildcats and leave out the "forked tail devil'. Hands down for me, the P-38.

That would be my second choice, if not my alternate first.DropTank wrote:Can't have P-51's, P-47's, Me-109's, Me 262's FW 190's , Zeros, SBD's, & Wildcats and leave out the "forked tail devil'. Hands down for me, the P-38.
Would be nice to get one of the earlier variants E, F, G (Yamamoto mission) and H that are different looking around the engine cowling, as well as the definitive J.
