21st BF 109 White-12 "Final Engineering Pilot"

http://cgi.ebay.com/Bf-109-1-18-scale-i ... 35b2950ba6

"A piece of 21st Century Toys, Inc. history. Rare Find. One of the orginal sample of the initial production of this scheme. FEP sent to the company by the manufacturing factory for approval of overall paint, attachment to base and initial packaging. As noted with the regular production the clear PVC Cover was omitted and base was moulded in black PVC.

THIS IS A UNIQUE SAMPLE: There are two repairs to this FEP, a. antenna reattached, b. gun reattached on right wing."

This marshall1146 is the ebay id for 21st Century right?

I think so. He is from Oakland, California, where the majority of these rare 21C prototypes seem to come from.

Good to see you again, Gouchy! :D

Thanks Snake! :P

I'm always lurking around here even though I don't post much, just going along with the old advice of "If you have nothing good to say..."

Just wondering how many more of these rare "one-off"s they have hidden in their vaults, another KT or A-10 perhaps?

Hmm guess the fishes ain't hungry or the bait wasn't appetizing enough

Apart from the packaging ain't a lot of difference from the general release I guess..

Well guys, I'm the fish that took the bait at $50.00.
Box arrived today, even with the shipper paying another 20.00 over what was asked to ship it.
It is a White 12 109, yellow nose with red heart, gray body with yellow tail and kill markings. There also is a black square where the swastika is supposed to be.
It also has a white shield with a Black S within it. The prop is black with a half black and white spinner.
It did come on a gray plastic base with the fusalage sitting atop two round pegs, and attached to the pegs with plastic type screws (for use of better word) the same type of attaching style that the older 21st tanks came, no twist ties. The wing assembly is sitting in a cradle type fixture on the base.
The clear plastic cover is really just something akin to when you buy a cake at the bakery to keep from smashing it before you get home.
It did come with a broken gun and antenna as described, which was an easy fix. It also has a drop tank under th wind assembly. NO PILOT.
The plane is marked 21st Century Toys.
Don't really know what I have here, but there was a glitch in shipping (USPS) coded wrong and I did get an email from ALGO fixing the shipping problem.
Oh yes, one wheel strut is missing a spring to hold it down when deployed. No biggie if one leaves it on the stand.
Don't laugh Guys, for 50 bucks hell it was worth it, I've probably pissed away more than that on a drinking binge while I was in the Navy. At least with this I do not have a hangover :)
Only German 109 I have, looks different sitting on the base with the wing assembly behind it.
Anyone have a 109 pilot laying around looking for a place to rest his butt?
Comments are appreciated, but don't laugh too hard if you can help it. I don't feel like I got screwed, so that is probably what's important, other than not really knowing what I really have.
GO FOR IT GUYS............................

A great buy, JOC.

It cost you less than a production model, and is obviously very rare.

Congratulations, on a unique model for a GREAT price. 8)
