King&Country's Carro Armato Arrives

I've been waiting for this one for some time and this 1:30th scale crushed stone replica of Italy's M13/40 Carro Armato WWII tank doesn't disappoint. Here's a picture:

I now have four models of the Carro Armato, three in metal and one in plastic. The smallest is a 1:76th scale metal kit-build of a Hinchcliff model; next up is a 1:64th scale diecast rendition by DeAgostini, then a 1:35th scale plastic kit build and, finally, the K&C stone "heavyweight". that looks very nice. Are these K&C tanks compatable with 1/32 or do they look too noticalbly large? Seems a shame such nice quality stuff is made to an oddball scale.

Some of the K&C armor fit in with 1/32. Some of their vehicles are huge and they dwarf the 1/32. This Italian tank is not 'oversized'. The other Italian armor from K&C are great too, and they are not 'oversized.' Some of the earlier Panzers are closer to 1/32 than 1/30. The King Tigers are huge. Some of the trucks are also true 1/30 and look strange/odd next to 1/32 vehicles.

K&C is expensive but they have made so many interesting vehicles. The Italian as well as French armor are perfect examples. As I have stated before, how many Tigers can one have. When one considers how few of the more popular German tanks were actually produced, but yet they are the most popular....

I have a fair number of K&C armor models and I sometimes wonder at their size relative to the stated 1:30th scale. As a rule, the K&C models seem a good deal larger, compared to 1:32 or 1:35th scale models, than the fairly small scale differential indicates.

hm...how long is the King and Country M13/40? Should be just under 6.5 inches to be correct for 1/30

It's actually 6 3/4 in. long.

I agree. The most unique or non-ordinary vehicle they did was the WWII heavy Soviet tank. I also liked the modern era T72 and the Challenger. Italian, French or Japanese tanks would be greatly appreciated. If they started making modern era vehicles again, I wouldn't mind seeing a Leopard or perhaps some French, Israeli, Russian or Chinese armor.
