I was thinking about picking-up some of BBI's Warriors of the World Figures, to use for customs. I was curious, how the Romans and Knight compared to other 1:18 lines. Does anyone have some of these, to compare.
Thanks,

Re: BBI Warriors of the World Scale?
i have several and they are very nice. Work very well with 1/18. They are not robust like 21c figures but finer, like bbi wwii and modern figs, star wars figs, joes etc. Very recommended.
i never met an airplane i didn't like...

I believe they're a sub-line from Unimax, IIRC... So they definitely should match up to Forces of Valor since Unimax also makes them.

Now Hasbro, make us some Head Sculpt & Endor Uniform variations! The new Rebel Fleet Trooper gets the JJ Seal of Approval Though!

no, unimax had their own line of ancient warrior figures, then name of which i forget at the moment....i don't think they did very well at retail as i haven't heard much about them since they first came out. The BBI figures are an older series and non articulated.

Yes, those are the Ages of Action figures by Unimax (Forces of Valor). They are articulated and quite nice. The bbi WOW figures are great too, and I don't mind their lack of articulation at all (in fact, in some ways it makes them easier to work with).

Ah ok, the BBi ones are the unarticulated figures, right?
And Unimax's are just like their military figures... same articulation style exactly, same sculpting style even. I don't believe they did great at retail either. They weren't out at stores though ever, just online.

Yep, the bbi figures are the unarticulated ones.
