Re: 1/16 V-2
I've built this kit, I had it for almost nine years. Each time I'd go to work work on it I'd remember how much I disliked vacu-formed kits.
Here are some pics..... http://outdoors.webshots.com/album/579964441fUPekr
For a model this scale you'd think it would have a little more detail.

Re: 1/16 V-2
I wish I could see some detail shots of the bottom. It looks like the flap actuator fairings are molded into the fins, but that there aren't any nozzle vanes -- is that right?normandy wrote:I've built this kit, I had it for almost nine years. Are any panel lines / rivets / access panels molded into the body or fins?

Gburch, there are no panel lines, rivets or access panels on the model and no nozzle vanes.
If you click on the first of my webshots pics and zoom in on the fin you'll see the lack of detail.

I'm sure You can.
I've been following your progress with this 3D printing and I'm impressed. Your V-2 is looking great ! Keep up the great work.

Re: 1/16 V-2
Here is another newer option, but I'm not sure it is better, 1/24 scale.

If you are gonna have a V-2, why not make something REALLY impressive.
