I think you are talking about "Yellow 3" with the yellow vertical bar. I believe that was issued before 21st started putting production numbers on the boxes so production numbers are unknown. I had one a few years back, but sold it when I cleared out my 1/32 Me-262s.

Most of the boxes I have say the plane inside is one of 5000. However, does it mean 5000 of that scheme or 5000 of the type of plane. My assumption is scheme, as only 5000 ME-262s in the world would make them much more costly.
So, if they made 6 schemes that should make 30,000 models made - give or take a few for promotions, quality checking, loss to defects during production, etc.

They meant 5000 per scheme. Way too many of these planes when you figure that at one time there were 4-6 of them at nearly every Wal Mart and many small retailers, world wide.[CAT]CplSlade wrote:Most of the boxes I have say the plane inside is one of 5000. Funny, I don't remember the one AG is refering to at all. Must have been one of the earlier ones. At one time I had the original White 3, White 5, and Black 4 - and once almost picked up Yellow 7. Got rid of White 3 a while back and should have gotten Yellow 7
